- Well, a shelter-in-place order at Pitt appears to be paying off. New cases on the Oakland campus are beginning to decline. 44 students have tested positive since Tuesday, but the five-day average of new cases is down from 12.2 to 11.8. 105 students are currently in isolation, and since Tuesday, six new faculty or staff members have tested positive.
