COVID-19 hospitalizations not surging so far this winter, local doctor says

In the past few years, we’ve seen a winter surge in hospitalizations because of COVID-19.

However, not this winter so far.

An infectious disease doctor says the biggest factor is the level of immunity people have now that is keeping them from getting severely sick from COVID.
