Wisconsin

Residents of Northwestern Wisconsin, including Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Price, Iron, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor and Washburn counties, can call a COVID-19 call center representative for help with navigating the vaccination process, including setting up a appointment. Call the call center at 715-201-2394 or email Matthew Filipek at mfilipek@nwwib.com. The Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board partnered with Northwest Wisconsin Area Health Education Center to create the representative position.

Common questions

Vaccine priority groups in Minnesota and Wisconsin

Any age 16 and older providers are asked to prioritize doses for older people, those with underlying conditions and frontline workers. Must be 18 or older to get the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Those age 16 and 17 can only get the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

St. Louis County

Hospitals

St. Luke's in Duluth: All eligible patients. Existing patients should use myCare portal at slhduluth.com/mycare. A button will be available to schedule a vaccine as supplies allow. Hospital will call patients with high-risk conditions to schedule. Using Pfizer. Non-patients and people without access to the online portal can call 218-249-4200. The line is staffed from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

— The clinic is now accepting walk-ins. St. Luke's vaccine clinic, 915 E. First St. in Duluth, is open from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays.

Essentia Health in Duluth, Virginia, Ely and Aurora: Administering to patients and general public. Patients and non-patients can both now make an appointment through Essentia's myChart portal at essentiamyhealth.org. Can also call 833-494-0836 to ask about scheduling an appointment. Using Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Essentia mobile vaccine clinic — Organizations that need assistance administering vaccines can request at essentiahealth.org/covid-19/covid-19-community-response-team.

Scenic River Health Services Cook, Eveleth and Tower: To make an appointment in Cook call 218-361-3297, to make an appointment in Tower call 218-753-2405 and to make an appointment in Eveleth call 218-361-3300.

St. Louis County Public Health

Vaccine line: 218-726-2623. Staffed 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Messages returned during business hours.

Community vaccine sites: One site in Pike Lake, Hermantown, Hibbing and Eveleth. Eligible residents will receive a link to register from county or employer. The Pike Lake clinic uses the Pfizer vaccine.

Duluth Transportation Center pop-up site: St. Louis County Public Health nurses will be giving the vaccine in the lobby of the Duluth Transportation Center at 228 W. Michigan St. from 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6. No appointment necessary. There will be free fares on DTA buses and the STRIDE Paratransit to and from the vaccination site and free parking at the center's ramp.

Pharmacies

Thrifty White in Hibbing, Hoyt Lakes and Virginia: Do not need to be a pharmacy customer. Schedule an appointment at thriftywhite.com/covid19vaccine. If no appointments are available people can join waitlist to be notified when they open. If the location is not listed, there are no openings.

Walmart in Hermantown, Hibbing and Mountain Iron: Do not need to be a pharmacy customer. Schedule an appointment at walmart.com/cp/1228302.

Sam's Club in Hermantown: Do not need to be a Sam's Club member. Schedule an appointment at samsclub.com/pharmacy/immunization?imzType=covid.

Casey Drug in Chisholm: Offers Moderna. Schedule an appointment at caseydrugpharmacy.com.

CVS Pharmacy at Target in Duluth: Registration for appointments is available at CVS.com, through the CVS Pharmacy app or by calling 800-746-7287. No walk-ins.

Jon's Drug in Eveleth: Call 218-744-2774 to get on a waitlist.

State of Minnesota

Duluth: Community vaccination site at Duluth Entertainment Convention Center opened Feb. 8. Register at mn.gov/covid19/vaccine/find-vaccine/community-vaccination-program/index.jsp.

Carlton County

Carlton County Public Health

Vaccine hotline: Age 18 and older (Moderna vaccine). If age 16 or 17, contact health care provider. Call 218-499-6310 to schedule an appointment. View upcoming clinics and availability at bit.ly/carltoncountyhub.

Hospitals

Community Memorial Hospital: Can register at cloquethospital.com/covid-vaccine; they do not have to be patients of CMH or Raiter Family Clinic. CMH will contact eligible patients who complete the form when vaccine is available.

Gateway Family Health Clinic in Moose Lake: Call the vaccine line at 218-485-2014 or register at gatewayclinic.com/covid-vaccine-request.

Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa

Vaccine clinics: Open to age 18 and older who are Fond du Lac Band enrollees, Fond du Lac Band employees and first- or second-generation descendants of those who are band enrollees. Vaccines also open to those 18 and older who live in the band's service area and are either a member of another federally recognized tribe, a first- or second-generation descendent of someone who is, a non-Indigenous household member of anyone eligible as well as Indigenous Canadians. Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids: To make an appointment, log in to mychart.fairview.org/MyChart or call 218-326-7344. Appointments are being scheduled one week at a time, with the schedule for the week opening up on Mondays at 9 a.m.

Scenic Rivers Health Services in Bigfork: To make an appointment call 218-361-3274.

Itasca County Public Health

COVID message line: 218-327-6784. Open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. For information about vaccination options and current local data, go to co.itasca.mn.us/798/COVID-19-Coronavirus-Information.

Clinics: Periodic public clinics will be available and announced on Itasca County Public Health's Facebook page and through public announcements.

Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe

Cass Lake Indian Health Services: Includes all IHS-eligible patients age 18 and older, with elders given priority. Call 218-368-4763 to reserve an appointment. Tribal nations can deviate from state and federal vaccine guidelines.

Pharmacies

Lake County

Lake County Public Health and Lake View Hospital & Medical Clinics: Pop-up clinics for Lake County are offered when enough vaccine doses are received. Register for an appointment at co.lake.mn.us hotline, 218-834-8434, to hear recorded messages about scheduled pop-up clinics and how to make an appointment. The message is updated each weekday morning. Clinics scheduled on short notice. When making an appointment, provide name, mailing address, email, phone number, date of birth and mother's maiden name.

Cook County

Cook County Public Health

Vaccine clinic: Registration reopens each Monday at 8 a.m. at cookcountycovid19.org. Those unable to register online can call 218-877-8273 or email covid19hotline@co.cook.mn.us for support. Offering Pfizer and Moderna.

Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa

Vaccine hotline: All band members, residents in Grand Portage area and employees should call 218-475-2235 to schedule time to get vaccinated. Tribal nations can deviate from federal and state vaccine guidelines.

Douglas County

Douglas County Public Health

Vaccine hotline: 715-395-7336. Leave name with spelling, birthdate and phone number. Only call one time. Public Health will contact you when vaccine is available. Limited supply. Public health can also set up visits to vaccinate people who are homebound.

Vaccine clinic: Age 16 and older. At Siinto S. Wessman Arena, University of Wisconsin-Superior. Douglas County will split community-based vaccination clinic with Barron County. Pfizer. Open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Began accepting walk-in appointments April 27. Can also register at vaccinate.wi.gov/en-US.

Hospitals

St. Luke's Mariner Medical Clinic in Superior: Designated vaccine distribution site by Wisconsin Department of Health. Appointments through myCare portal at slhduluth.com/mycare or contacted by St. Luke's; do not call.

Essentia Health St. Mary's-Superior Clinic in Superior: Administering to patients and general public. Patients and non-patients can both now make an appointment through Essentia's myChart portal at essentiamyhealth.org. Can also call 833-494-0836 to ask about scheduling an appointment. Lake Superior Community Health Center in Superior: Staff calls patients as appointments become available.

State of Wisconsin

Wisconsin launched its vaccine registry program March 1. Sign up at vaccinate.wi.gov or call 844-684-1064 toll-free for personal assistance and answers to vaccine-related questions.
