COVID-19 In Maryland: Over Three Million Marylanders Fully Vaccinated

Maryland reported 104 new COVID-19 cases and 5 deaths Sunday as the state’s positivity rate and hospitalizations continue to decline. More than 3 million Marylanders are fully vaccinated. State officials also reported that the state positivity rate went down to 1.22%.

Now to the pandemic. Maryland reports just over 100 new cases in a day, and five more people have died. The statewide positivity rate goes down once again.

Now, more Marylanders are getting vaccinated. The state has given over 6.2 million vaccine doses, and more than three million are now fully vaccinated.

Today, the Compare Foods in Baltimore turned into a mobile vaccination clinic. It was from 11:00 to 12:00 this afternoon at the store on Eastern Avenue. You can see people came out to take full advantage of the opportunity. The Maryland Health Department partnered up with Compare Foods to bring vaccinations directly to staff and shoppers in the city.
