COVID-19 mass vaccination sites opening Friday in Maryland

Maryland will open two mass coronavirus vaccination sites Friday, but you can't just show up at either site. In January, Gov. Larry Hogan announced that preparation was underway to open coronavirus mass vaccination sites in Maryland. The Baltimore Convention Center is about to take on yet another role since the pandemic began. First, it was converted into a field hospital, then a testing site. Starting Friday, it will be one of two mass COVID-19 vaccination sites to open in Maryland. The site is open to anyone who qualifies, but appointments are required and there is no walk-up availability.
