COVID-19 relief supplies arrive in India
Aircrafts carrying the coronavirus relief materials arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Sunday (May 2).
The German aircraft delivered over 100 ventilators, and the French aircraft brought in eight oxygen devices which will be installed in eight hospitals in New Delhi and in other Indian states
A flight from Uzbekistan carrying 100 oxygen concentrators, and other medical supplies arrived, as well as a Belgian flight carrying a consignment of 9,000 vials of Remdesivir, an essential antiviral medication used for COVID-19 patients.
Countries around the world have been rushing to help India alleviate the crisis. India recorded more than 392,488 new COVID-19 in the last 24 hours as it battles a devastating second wave.
