COVID-19 Testing At Cape Hospitals Has Registration Open Online

FALMOUTH, MA — Appointments for coronavirus testing at Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital can now be self-scheduled online through Cape Cod Healthcare's MyChart patient portal, hospital officials said Monday.

The testing is conducted at the hospitals' two drive-thru testing sites during the following hours:

  • Cape Cod Hospital campus: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to noon

  • Falmouth Hospital campus: Sunday – Thursday, 7:30 – 11:30 a.m.

The testing method utilized is an RT-PCR test, considered the gold standard for accurately detecting active COVID-19 virus in a collected specimen. Test results are currently available within 24 to 48 hours.

People seeking a testing appointment can now log in to their MyChart account (or create one if a new user), answer a short questionnaire and then select a date and time for testing. Anyone unable to schedule a test online can call the Cape Cod Healthcare Community Testing Line at 508-534-7013.

"With the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in Barnstable County due to the omicron variant, our drive-through testing sites continue to offer a safe and efficient option for anyone in our community seeking testing," said Cape Cod Healthcare CEO Mike Lauf.
