COVID-19 testing sites to be added in San Joaquin County as families deal with long lines

Concerns about the delta variant, employment requirements and other mandates have resulted in a spike in the number of people getting tested for COVID-19. Many communities in San Joaquin County are dealing with long lines at testing sites or families choosing to travel outside of the county to get tested. COVID-19 testing in California should be free, with few exceptions. In Manteca, a long line of drivers waited at a Walgreens, one of only a few testing sites in the city where, according to the 2019 census, almost 80,000 people live. See more in the video above.
