Earlier doses in the COVID-19 vaccine series also are available for Pfizer or Moderna, Summit County Public Health spokeswoman Marlene Martin said.

The agency also offers weekday vaccine clinics by appointment at https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov.

The drive-up clinic is being added for convenience and due to demand, Martin said.

"We’re doing them on an as-needed basis based on clinic appointments increasing," said Martin.

The drive-up clinic "is a convenient way to vaccinate larger numbers of people," she said. "We also get very positive feedback when we offer drive-thru clinics. People like the ease and convenience."

Retail pharmacies and doctors' offices also have COVID-19 vaccines available. Check https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov or providers' websites for appointments.
