COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 51% of people fully vaccinated in Washington County

More than 51% of people living in Washington County are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus as of Nov. 30, according to data from Maryland Department of Health, making it the top county for vaccinations in the Tri-State.

But that's still far below the percentage for the the state of Maryland. Statewide, nearly 80% of the population have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

In addition to Washington County, the USA Today Network has gathered data from state health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showing vaccination rates for Franklin and Fulton counties in Pennsylvania, and Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties in West Virginia.

The CDC considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) or a second shot (either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna).
