  • Vaccine clinics at Eugene Station are 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays in June (June 8, 15, 22, and 29).

  • Vaccine clinics at Springfield Station are 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays in June (June 9, 16, 23, and 30).

COVID-19 vaccine boosters can further enhance or restore protection that might have decreased over time after initial vaccines, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC recommends everyone 5 and older to get one booster after completing a COVID-19 vaccine primary series. Most adults who received the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine should get their booster at least five months after their final dose of their primary dose. Those who are immunocompromised should get their booster as three months after their initial shots. All adults 18 and older who received the Johnson and Johnson vaccine should get a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 booster at least two months after their initial shot.

Adults who are 50 and older as well as people people age 12 and older who are moderately or severely immunocompromised can get their second booster four months after their first booster.

As of June 1, 706,214 doses of the vaccine had been administered in Lane County, adding up to 278,060 people fully vaccinated, according to the Oregon Health Authority.
