COVID-19 vaccines likely to be distributed before Biden inaugurated, doctor says

Dr. Celine Gounder, a clinical assistant professor at NYU and a member of President-elect Joe Biden’s COVID-19 advisory board, joins Weekend TODAY and says she fears that many who celebrated Thanksgiving outside their “household bubble” could be spending Christmas and New Year’s in the hospital due to coronavirus infections. Dr. Gounder also weighs in on coordinating vaccine distribution: “I think you will see actually see the beginnings of vaccine distribution even before Jan. 20.”
