Where to get COVID-19 vaccine in Central Florida

COVID-19 vaccinations are available across Central Florida through health department mobile sites, major retail pharmacies, community health clinics, hospital networks, the Orlando VA Healthcare System and some doctors’ offices. Most are now walk-up or drive-thru events with no appointment necessary.

All Florida residents 12 and older are eligible for the two-dose Pfizer vaccine, although 12- to 17-year-olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a signed consent form — or both. All Florida residents 18 and over also can receive the two-dose Moderna and one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

For retail pharmacies, check each retailer’s website for participating locations, hours and other details: Costco, CVS, Publix, Sam’s Club, Winn Dixie, Walgreen’s and Walmart. Many locations now accept walk-in patients with no appointment required.

Adventhealth will administer first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine by appointment at select Centra Care locations, including Colonialtown, Lake Nona. Winter Park and Winter Garden. See centracare.adventhealth.com/urgent-care/covid-19-vaccines for details and to schedule a shot.

Orlando Health is offering the Pfizer vaccine at two locations: Drive-thru vaccinations are available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., through Aug. 27, at 44 Lake Beauty Dr. near downtown Orlando; walk-in shots are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., through the fall at Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute Scripts Pharmacy Clinic, 1222 S. Orange Ave. near downtown Orlando. For both sites, no appointments are necessary but pre-registration is encouraged at vaccine.orlandohealth.com/.

For individuals who are physically unable to go to a vaccine site because of injury or illness, in-home vaccinations are available by calling 1-833-930-3672 or emailing Homeboundvaccines@cdrmaguire.com.
