1. Minnesota reported more than 1,100 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday. It is the first time in more than two months the state reported more than 1,000 cases in a 24-hour period. (BMTN)

2. A woman is in critical condition after being shot Thursday morning outside a family support center in South Minneapolis. The shooting happened around 7:30 a.m. at 3036 University Ave. SE.(BMTN)

3. A Minneapolis man pleaded guilty this week to stalking radio host Jade Tittle. Patrick Henry Kelly violated a restraining order by visiting Tittle’s St. Paul home twice last year. He was previously charged with stalking and harassing radio DJ Mary Lucia in 2014. (Paid source: Star Tribune)

4. The annual Minneapolis Earth Day Clean-Up event will be held Saturday at more than 30 locations across the city. The Great River Coalition will also host a family-friendly 5K at Boom Island Park. (Park Board)
