JIM BENEMANN: Some public school districts want to end the student quarantine.

KAREN LEIGH: A dozen superintendents requested that move. The districts include Adams 12, Aurora, Cherry Creek, Douglas, Jeffco, Littleton, and Westminster. They say data shows a low rate of transmission actually in schools, and that students who are not sick end up missing out on critical end of year events, such as advanced placement exams and graduation ceremonies. They've submitted a proposal to the state health department to end the quarantine.
