The Garfield County Sheriff's Office is temporarily closed due to a COVID-19 outbreak. At least four detention facility members and 17 inmates at the detention facility in Glenwood Springs have been confirmed sick.

The sheriff's office says at least four detention facility members and 17 inmates are sick in Glenwood Springs. Inmates are being housed within the same area and are in quarantine. Public services for residents will still be provided at the rightful annex location.
