Dec. 3—LARAMIE — The University of Wyoming football team will end the season at the Arizona Bowl for the second consecutive season.

The Cowboys (8-4 overall, 5-3 Mountain West) were matched up with Toledo (11-2, 8-0) out of the Mid-American Conference. The Rockets were ranked No. 23 in the country last week but lost 23-14 to Miami (Ohio) in the MAC championship game this weekend.

UW has played in the Arizona Bowl three times since 2019, losing last year's game 30-27 to Ohio in overtime. This year's bowl appearance marks coach Craig Bohl's sixth bowl game since being hired with the Cowboys in 2014. Bohl is 3-2 at UW in postseason play.

The Arizona Bowl will kickoff at 2 p.m. Dec. 30 at Arizona Stadium in Tucson. Brett McMurphy of Action Network listed Toledo as a 1-point favorite in his bowl announcement Sunday afternoon.

This year's game will be broadcast nationally on The CW Network. Barstool's Dave Portnoy, Dan 'Big Cat' Katz and Jake Marsh will be on the call in the booth, and Caleb Presley and Adam Ferrone will serve as sideline reporters.
