On the singles side, Lucia Malinak went 2-0 at the No. 6 spot, winning 6-2, 6-0 against UTEP and 6-3, 6-1 against Northern Arizona. Noesjka Brink at No. 2 and Violetta Borodina at No. 3, both got singles wins against NAU and were leading in their matches against UTEP before the Cowgirls clinched the match as a team.

Brink and Malinak now lead UW with five singles wins this season, each with Brink up to 14 overall when including the fall season. The Cowgirls, who are 2-1 in Laramie this season, are 57-11 (.838) at home under Head Coach Dean Clower.
