STORY: "Unfortunately, this is the result of a poor leadership in my opinion. I don’t think this would’ve happened under the previous administration," said Logan Manhart, who came all the way from South Dakota.

"Russia has made military maneuvers under four of the last five presidents. Guess which one they didn’t test their boundaries with? It was President Trump," added Manhart.

Manhart's opinion was echoed by Floridian Schuyler Williams, who said he has a brother in the U.S. Marines and was concerned by what is happening in Ukraine.

“I think if Trump was still in office, we never would’ve gotten to this point. But unfortunately, we are where we are at."

CPAC meeting, which touts itself as the "largest and most influential" worldwide gathering of conservatives, runs from February 24-27. Included among the top speakers at the event will be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former U.S. President Donald Trump.
