UPDATE: 12:18 P.M. AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — VDOT reports the crash on I-64 East in Augusta County is now cleared.

Currently, all east lanes are open and traffic is flowing in the area.

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation reports drivers traveling on I-64 East in Augusta County can expect delays due to a crash.

The crash occurred around mile marker 93, in the Hickory Hill area. Currently, the east lane and left shoulder are closed as crews work on the scene.

The department says traffic is backed up for about one mile.

Drivers traveling on this route are encouraged to find a different route.
