Crash on I-70 in Perry Township kills three Cambridge residents

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Three people were killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 70 in Perry Township, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Around 2:01 p.m. near mile marker 163, Jennifer Parrigan, 41, of Cambridge, went off the side of the roadway and struck a tree.

She and her two passengers — Ashley Stitt, 29, of Cambridge, and Brian Keith, 46, of Cambridge — were killed in the crash.

No other vehicles were involved.

Traffic was diverted onto U.S. 22 at exit 160 for approximately two hours as the scene was cleared.

They were assisted by Perry Township and Washington Township fire departments, the Muskingum County coroner, Ohio Department of Transportation, SRS Services and Quinlan's Towing.

OSHP is investigating the crash.
