FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – One person has died after an accident involving a truck in Franklin County.

Pennsylvania State Police say a call came in at 9:21 a.m. for a crash on the 10100 block of Welsh Run Road/PA 995 in Montgomery Township.

State Police say a 49-year-old woman was traveling northbound when it traveled into the path of a southbound commercial truck. The woman from Mercersburg was pronounced deceased at the scene and both vehicles had disabling damage.

The truck driver, a Newburg man, was not injured.
