UPDATE: Southbound lanes of I-95 reopening near SR 16 in St. Johns County

UPDATE 8:15 a.m. - Action News Jax just received the FHP report on this morning’s crash. According to the report, all three semis involved in the crash were traveling south when one of the drivers slowed down because of another accident. The other drivers failed to stop in time, causing a chain reaction crash.

UPDATE 7:30 a.m. - Lanes are starting to reopen. Traffic is slowly starting to move again.

ORIGINAL STORY 6:15 a.m. - Traffic is being detoured around a crash on Interstate 95 between state roads 16 and 207 in St. Johns County.

The crash, which happened shortly after 2 a.m. Friday, involved three semi trucks.

No one is hurt, but there is a fuel leak, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
