Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, star couple of the hit K-drama “Crash Landing on You,” plan on suing anyone who shares false rumors about them online.

Hyun’s agency VAST Entertainment and Son’s agency Esteem Entertainment announced on Monday that the two South Korean actors are taking legal action against YouTubers who spread fake news about them.

The two agencies specifically denounced a YouTube video titled “Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin divorce in six months of marriage... Shocking,” which was posted last week.

The agencies called it “groundless” and shared they are now reviewing legal responses.

The video, which has since been removed from YouTube, reportedly claimed that Son demanded a divorce from Hyun because he participated in illegal gambling activities overseas, which affected her financially.

We are monitoring the rumors in real-time, and we plan to take strong legal action,” a spokesperson from VAST Entertainment said.

Esteem Entertainment reiterated VAST Entertainment’s statement about the inaccuracy of the rumors, adding that they are “constantly monitoring the situation internally and have requested YouTube to delete the videos.”
