Crash on State Road 60 in Plant City leaves 1 dead, woman and child injured
A 39-year-old woman from Plant City died after the car she was driving crashed into another vehicle on State Road 60 Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The woman was driving west in a Honda Civic when she crossed the grass median east of Ramsgate Place in Plant City and collided with an eastbound Audi A4, troopers said. Both sedans rotated until coming to a rest. The collision occurred at 7:50 a.m.
The driver of the Audi was a 27-year-old woman from Plant City. A 3-year-old girl was also in the car. Both the woman and child sustained minor injuries.
The two drivers and the girl were wearing seatbelts, troopers said.
