Crashes close Beltway in Anne Arundel County
Crashes shut down the Beltway in both directions late Saturday night near Maryland Route 295 in Anne Arundel County. County fire officials told 11 News that crews were called around 9:15 p.m. to the Beltway near Route 295, where multiple vehicles were involved in crashes on both the Outer and Inner loops. Maryland State Police provided an update to 11 News around 10:40 p.m., saying the Outer Loop remained closed, and the Inner Loop was getting by the scene on the shoulder.
