Craving a massage? Massage concept Squeeze is coming to the Nashville area this fall

Massage concept Squeeze is planning to open the brand’s third outpost and first store in the Nashville area this fall.

Squeeze was created by the founders of California-based salon chain DryBar.

It first opened in Studio City in 2019.

Brittany Driscoll, co-founder and CEO of Squeeze, said the team is excited to bring a new massage option to the company’s headquarters in Nashville. The new 2,500-square-foot location is planned at 7011 Executive Center Drive in Brentwood. An opening date has not yet been announced.

“We created Squeeze to provide a convenient, personalized and quality massage experience for guests as well as a feel-good working environment for our team,” Driscoll said.

There will be eight massage suites available at the Brentwood site, the company noted.

Bookings can be made using the Squeeze app and website. Personalized preferences, rates, tips and reviews can be set before appointments using the technology.

Guests can dictate where they'd like a masseuse to focus, pressure levels, the type of music played during their session and lighting. These settings are saved to their profiles after the appointment for easy access during their next return.

A “ready button” to notify therapists when to enter the room to start massages is also included.

Massage add-ons for no additional costs include a selection of aromatherapy, deep tissue, heat therapy or percussion therapy.

Squeeze supports local business ownership through franchising, Driscoll said.

Squeeze Nashville Operating Partner Kevin Brothen is a franchisee.

“Not only is Squeeze providing a way better massage experience, but they’ve provided a way better franchising experience, making every step of the way a streamlined and seamless process," Brothen said. "Squeeze is disrupting the massage industry, and I'm honored to be a part of it at the forefront.”

Squeeze customers can pay per session or purchase a membership.

Individual sessions start at $109 for a 50-minute table massage called the Mid-Squeeze.

Memberships begin at $89. That price includes one Mid-Squeeze massage per month plus perks. A $20 founding member discount is being offered on memberships to the Brentwood location for a limited time only, according to the company's website.

For each membership purchased, a percentage goes toward helping provide a day of canine support to a person with a disability in partnership with Canine Companions.

Squeeze has more than a dozen locations, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Scottsdale, in development for 2022 and 2023 openings.
