Just one team picked up a win last week, which means we have some movement at the top but the rest of the poll remains unchanged.

Let's see how the Crawford County Football Power Poll looks entering Week 9.

1. Colonel Crawford (6-2)

The Eagles are back on track after a two-game skid, having throttled rival Wynford 49-7 to retain the Iron Plow for another season. Offensively, Colonel Crawford switched things up relying on Kam Lohr's arm to get around Wynford's staunch front seven and it just showed how dynamic the Eagles can be moving forward.

They will have another test this week as Mohawk comes to town and the Warriors have steadily been getting better as the season goes on.

2. Galion (4-4)

Hopes of a Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference title were quashed last weekend in a 35-21 loss to Highland, but that just means Galion's focus can shift to the postseason with the Tigers now controlling their own destiny with two weeks to go. This is a team that can make some noise in the playoffs with the right matchup to build momentum, and it's hoping to build some these final two weeks.

There's a good chance to bounce back this week as Pleasant comes to town — the Spartans have won only once this season, in Week 2 over Wynford.

3. Wynford (2-6)

The little two-game win streak came to an end at the hands of rival Colonel Crawford, but it wasn't as one-sided as the score would make you think. Wynford moved the ball well several times in the game, but just couldn't punch it in when it mattered and turnovers wound up being costly.

Now it's back-to-back road games to close out the regular season for the Royals, including this week at Seneca East.

4. Buckeye Central (3-5)

Five games, five losses for the Bucks since Northern 10 play began. And now postseason hopes are in jeopardy after they dropped down to 18th in Division VII Region 25.

But there still is hope and a win this weekend would go a long way and could even clinch one of the final qualifying spots with a week to go. Buckeye Central hosts county rival Bucyrus looking to avenge a 35-0 shutout from last season.

5. Bucyrus (1-7)

It's now a seven-game skid for Bucyrus, which was drubbed 54-0 by Carey, one of the best teams in Division VI. It's a tough result to make too much of considering how good the Blue Devils defense is and how equally potent the offense is.

There's a chance for Bucyrus to end the skid this week at Buckeye Central. The Bucks are also reeling, and the teams always rise to the occasion for this county clash.

6. Crestline (0-8)

The losing streak is now at 17 for the Bulldogs, who lost 49-8 to Hardin Northern last weekend. Moral victories are important right now, though, and that loss was the first time this season Crestline had scored in back-to-back games, even if it came late in both games.

A chance to right the ship presents itself in Week 9 with also winless Lima Perry coming to town. The Commodores have also been throttled in league play similarly to Crestline but put up a fight at Ridgemont, losing just 30-21. Crestline's loss to the Gophers was 56-0.
