Crayola Experience: Big crayon giveaway starts Friday
Crayola Experience attractions, including the one at Orlando’s Florida Mall, are participating in a massive crayon giveaway, which begins Friday, National Crayon Day.
Registered participants in the Million Crayon Giveaway can pick up a free 32-count crayon box at the store adjacent to the attraction and fill it with colors from the 40-foot-long Pick Your Pack wall. For a limited time, that selection will include Crayola’s Color of Kindness collection. Their names are Be Sweet to Each Other (a pink hue), You’re So A-Peeling (yellow), Kind to the Core (light green), Rise Above (purple) and Spread Your Wings (aqua).
Visitors must register in advance at crayolaexperience.com for a date to pick up their boxes and crayons. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-served bases, and there is a limit of two crayon boxes per household. No purchase is necessary. The event ends May 31 while supplies last.
“Celebrating National Crayon Day and the Crayola crayon’s 120th birthday is the perfect time to colorfully inspire happy thoughts, encourage positive interactions, and motivate acts of kindness and compassion,” Warren Schorr, Crayola senior vice president, business development, global licensing and experiences, said in a news release.
In addition to the Orlando location, there are Crayola Experiences in Easton, Pennsylvania; Bloomington, Minnesota; Plano, Texas; and Chandler, Arizona.
