Crayola’s Million Crayon Giveaway encourages kids to color the work with kindness

Crayola is encouraging kids to color the world with kindness with its 3rd annual Million Crayon Giveaway.

The giveaway will be held at five Crayola Experience locations across the country, including the one at The Florida Mall in Orlando.

From today until May, kids and kids at heart can create their free, one-of-kind, 32-county crayon box with their favorite colors from more than 70 Crayola colors.

A new addition this year is five crayons from the brand’s Colors of Kindness collection for kids to make their personalized crayon box even more unique: Be Sweet to Each Other, You’re So A-Peeling, Kind to the Core, Rise Above, and Spread Your Wings.

“The first Crayola box of crayons sold in 1903 and 120 years later opening a box of Crayola crayons continues to unleash the imagination and provide unlimited possibilities for creative expression, just like visiting Crayola Experience,” said Warren Schorr, Crayola senior vice president. “Celebrating National Crayon Day and the Crayola crayon’s 120th birthday is the perfect time to colorfully inspire happy thoughts, encourage positive interactions, and motivate acts of kindness and compassion.”

Crayola Experience Orlando also donated 1,000 Colors of Kindness crayon boxes and 1,000 attraction tickets to Embrace Families.

Embrace Families, Central Florida’s lead agency for children involved in the child welfare system is responsible for the safety and well-being of over 8,600 children.
