A 41-year-old man from Crestline was arrested on suspicion of shooting his neighbor in the mountain community south of Silverwood Lake.

Dahn Young Cho remains at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, with bail set at $250,000. He is expected to appear Wednesday in San Bernardino Superior Court, booking records show.

The Twin Peaks Sheriff Station reported that at 1:32 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 23000 block of Pioneer Camp Road.

The investigation revealed that Cho allegedly shot a man during an argument at a neighbor’s residence. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

After the shooting, Cho retreated into his residence, just before deputies arrived.

Members from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Enforcement Detail responded to the location and assisted in the efforts to apprehend Cho.

After several hours of attempting to have Cho surrender, he exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.
