Crestview's Thompson named first team All-Northwest District in Division III boys basketball
FINDLAY — When you make history, you get rewarded.
That is why Crestview sophomore Justice Thompson found himself as a first team All-Northwest District selection in Division III as decided by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.
Thompson averaged 16 points, four rebounds and two assists as he led the Cougars to their most wins in a single season in program history and a Firelands Conference title for the first time in 23 years.
Thompson was joined by junior teammate Jarek Ringler, who was a third team selection, as well as honorable mentions Heath Kash and Owen Barker.
Crestview coach John Kurtz was the Division III Northwest District Coach of the Year along with Tyson McGlaughlin of Ottawa-Glandorf, Sedron Harris of Oregon Cardinal Stritch and Kevin Sensabaugh of Spencerville.
