Crews battle 3-alarm fire at East Pittsburgh apartment building

An apartment building in East Pittsburgh sustained heavy damage after a 3-alarm fire Tuesday morning.

According to Allegheny County 911, the blaze broke out in the 600 block of Grandview Avenue at 10:11 a.m.

Channel 11 learned that the building housed four apartments which were damaged in the fire.

Six adults and a child who lived in the building may be temporarily displaced because of the fire, officials said.

No one was injured in the blaze.
