DANA TYLER: We have breaking news tonight in Greenwich Village. Firefighters are working to contain a building fire on Bleecker Street. Dan Rice is in Chopper 2. Dan, what can you tell us?

DAN RICE: Dana, this is on Bleecker Street at the corner of LaGuardia Place. 142 Bleecker Street, to be exact. About a half hour ago, the call came in for a fire on the second floor of this five-story building. You can see smoke still coming out of the top of this building.

Unknown the cause of the fire yet, but you can see firefighters trying to do their job to get this under control. We see several ladder trucks with their ladders extended. Again, that one unit right there concentrating on the second floor. Look at the top of your picture. You see some of that smoke still coming out of there, as well as the roof.

Now at this point, no reports of any injuries, although we have seen several ambulances on the scene. If you look closely at that picture, you can see a lot of people on the sidewalks taking a look at this. Again, all this on Bleecker at LaGuardia. And of course, as we get more information, we'll bring it to you. Reporting live in Chopper 2, Dan Rice, CBS2 News.

DANA TYLER: Dan, thank you.
