Crews respond to Eleanor Street fire

Mar. 10—NEWBERRY — On Monday, the City of Newberry Fire Department responded to 2322 Eleanor Street for a house fire.

As crews arrived to the address, smoke was showing from the structure, according to Chief Keith Minick.

"Crews made an attack while a second engine laid line for the hydrant at the corner of Eleanor and Hunt Street," he said.

There were no injuries reported and the Red Cross was notified to assist.
