Crews respond to fire at Oceanfront hotel pool
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Firefighters responded to a fire at an Oceanfront hotel pool Tuesday afternoon.
Crews were called to the Fairfield Inn and Marriott Suites in the 1900 block of Atlantic Avenue around 3:45 p.m.
When they arrived on the scene, crews found thick black smoke pouring from the indoor pool area.
No one was hurt, and no one in the hotel was displaced.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
