Fire causes $85,000 in damage to Troy house

Firefighters were called to a house fire late Wednesday night in Troy.

The fire happened around 11:50 p.m. in the 1700 block of Marby Drive.

Video from the scene showed fire damage to the front of the house and to the attic. Firefighters arrived and managed to bring the flames under control within five minutes.

Damage to the house is estimated at $85,000, according to Troy Fire. Troy Fire said no injuries were reported during the fire.

Two people who lived in the house were displaced, but did not need the assistance of the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
