Crews Respond to Natural Gas Pipeline Explosion in Ellsworth County, Kansas

A natural gas pipeline exploded in Ellsworth County, Kansas, on July 22, emergency officials said.

The pipeline is owned and operated by Northern Natural Gas, who said the explosion was started by a gas leak, according to local news reports.

There was no threat to public safety, according to initial reports from the scene.
