Crews respond to serious wreck involving motorcycle in Albemarle
Emergency crews responded to a serious wreck, involving a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon in Albemarle.
The crash involving the motorcycle and a car happened at about 2:30 p.m. along Highway 24/27 at Leonard Avenue by the Walmart, a witness told Channel 9.
The person on the 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle was ejected after colliding with a 2006 GMC truck.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital. Their condition was not released.
The crash is under investigation.
