Crime Stoppers offer reward for info in Newark motorcycle theft

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a Newark motorcycle theft.

According to Newark police, around 8:15 p.m. May 8, a suspect stole a black, Kawasaki motorcycle that was parked at an apartment in the 500 block of West Main Street. The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30's and about five foot, nine inches tall, about 155 pounds and wearing a blue shirt and blue pants. Police said the suspect was last seen driving a U-Haul.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
