Crisfield player strikes it rich with Maryland Lottery

A player in Crisfield is among the big Maryland Lottery winners on the Eastern Shore in the past week.

The winning $50,000 Fat Wallet ticket was sold at Crisfield Oceanic, 55 Richardson Ave., Maryland Lottery said in a release.

Lottery players in Easton also struck it rich, winning $50,000 and $25,000. Both Pick 5 tickets were sold March 23 at Khan Enterprises, 110 S. Washington St. in Easton.

Maryland Lottery said scratch-off players won $100,000 prizes on tickets sold in Frederick and Waldorf last week, while four $50,000-winning Pick 5 tickets were sold at a store in Millington and a Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Hyattsville.

In all, the seven days ending March 26 produced 44 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed across Maryland, and the Lottery paid more than $38.5 million in prizes during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
