The Portuguese soccer star will be growing his own CR7 line with new shirting options developed with New York City-based designer Richard Chai.
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been hard at work with Richard Chai on a new line of shirts according to a report published by WWD. The Real Madrid star and current holder of the Ballon d'Or has already got a CR7 line of footwear and underwear, but this is the first time he's branched out into the world of ready-to-wear.
The new collection looks set to emerge in 2015, with the cutting skills provided by Richard Chai who also worked with Ronaldo on the CR7 Underwear line, which was released one year ago and is available online and in select international retailers.
The footballer is part of a continued football/fashion crossover trend which has seen another former Madrid star, English soccer player David Beckham launch an underwear line with H&M and create fashion capsule collections with heritage biker brand Belstaff.
