Officials emphasized that there is an urgent need for blood donations and noted the importance of donating blood.

“Giving back to the community is one of Baldwin EMC’s core values, especially when there is a critical need. So, when LifeSouth reached out to us and told us how low their supplies were, we knew we had to help,” Baldwin EMC Corporate Services and Public Relations Vice President Mark Ingram said. “Just one pint can save up to three lives.”

Anyone in good health who is at least 17 years old and 110 pounds is encouraged to donate. Donors will receive a $25 e-gift card and will be entered to win a $100 Visa gift card.
