Critics' Choice Awards 2019: Taye Diggs To Host Gala

The 24th Critics' Choice Awards airs Sunday and "The Favourite" leads with 14 nominations. Check out the full list of nominees.

SANTA MONICA, CA – With final ballots in and the red carpet all rolled out, the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association are all set to shine the spotlight on their dazzling annual awards ceremony— the 24th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, hosted by Taye Diggs.

Boasting a diverse pool of A-list stars expected to be in attendance, the organizer’s signature showpiece event has the reputation for being one of the best predictors of the Academy Awards nominations.

This year, in the film categories, “The Favourite” leads the pack with 14 nominations, including best picture, best acting ensemble and best director for Yorgos Lanthimos. “Black Panther” follows closely with 12 nominations while “First Man” lands the third place with 10 nominations.

In television, “The American,” “The Association of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” and “Escape at Dannemora” reign supreme garnering 5 nominations each while both “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Sharp Objects” follow closely behind with 4 nominations each.
