For even the most anti of anti-morning people, the thought of a warm, flaky, buttery croissant is enough to get you out of bed, non? Thanks to UncommonGoods, you can keep a glowing version of the dreamy pastry at your bedside all the time.

People are enamored with this croissant lamp for many reasons, one of which is that yes, it's very cute, but ALSO it's actually made with a real croissant!! How cool is that?? You can also get similar baguette lamp, which also made with real bread! According to the description on Uncommon Goods site, Maker Yukiko Morita carves out baked goods' insides, installs LED strips, and then "reassembles each pastry with an epoxy resin to maintain its oven-kissed golden hue and ensure that it will never go 'bad.'" You can also get a better look at these creations (and buy one!) over on Catbird.

This TikTok by @jordanmyr1ck has racked up more than 20,000 like for saying what we all feel about these bread lamps...."just shut up and take my money!"

The croissant lamp is a little small—less lamp-size and more croissant-size—and doesn’t shine bright enough to light up your room, though it will certainly illuminate your French pastry-loving heart. It’s one of those quirky objets d’art that would instantly make you feel like a Parisian movie character: Your bedroom is effortlessly cool and quirky, decorated with a glowing croissant here, a hat there, and a whole lot of je ne sais quoi.

The croissant will run you $88 whereas its larger, baguette-shaped cousin will run you about $260. But that warm glow under the carb of your choice? It's priceless, my friends. Now, are we worried we might wake up in the middle of the night and, still half-asleep, try to bite into this lamp and crack a tooth? Sure. Do we want it anyway? Oui.
