Crooks burglarize NoHo wine store, steal $300,000 worth of booze

This was one hell of a bender.

Thirsty thieves broke into a NoHo wine shop, taking $300,000 in booze from the store’s fully stocked basement, police said Wednesday.

Workers at the Taste Wine Company on Third Ave. near E. 11th St. went into their long-closed shop on Tuesday night only to find that someone cleaned out the basement, takings scores of wine and liquor bottles and 125 pricey wine dispensers, cops said.

The store owner told police that his shop was closed since Jan. 8. and all the wine was fully accounted for then.

No one revealed how the burglars got into the basement. The doors to the business were locked when workers showed up on Tuesday, the owner said.
