Crow Hill Bluegrass to play in grove at Alsace Township church [Religion Digest]

Jun. 17----Crow Hill Bluegrass will play in the church grove at Zion's Spies Evangelical Reformed Church, 318 Spies Church Road, Alsace Township, at 3 p.m. next Saturday, followed by a campfire with hotdogs and s'mores.

—Huff's Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Hereford Township, will hold its food, fun and fellowship picnic on June 25 from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Hamburgers, hotdogs, salads; soups for sale by cups, pints and quarts. Games and kids activities will be set up. Bring a can or box of food to donate to our food bank and get a free cookie. Bring lawn chairs.

—Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County, will have coffee and conversation on Sunday at 8:30 and 10 a.m. in the Welcome Center. Quilts that were made by members and friends of the congregation will be blessed during the 9 a.m. worship service.

—The Rev. Dr. Gregory Stoddard will be the guest pastor at the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township.

—"Ranger Mike" Snavely brings his Creation or Evolution Seminar Safari to open the 75th anniversary season at Fivepointville Bible Conference, 528 Chapel Lane, Brecknock Township, Lancaster County. Snavely will present two one-hour seminars designed for families and children of all ages: "The Mystery of the Dinosaurs" next Saturday at 6 p.m. and "The Horror of the Flood!" on June 25 at 2 p.m. Admission is free for both seminars, food will be available, and a free-will offering will be received. Rain or shine in the enclosed tabernacle.

—St. John's Gernant's Church (A Federated Congregation), 12 Gernant's Church Road, Ontelaunee Township, will hold a free drive-by, take-out community meal on Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. The meal will be potpie, corn, pepper cabbage and bread.

—St. John's Lutheran Church, 1035 Old River Road, Robeson Township, will hold its 13th annual car show next Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., rain or shine. Breakfast and lunch foods plus baked goods will be for sale. There will also be Chinese and silent auctions, raffles, vacation Bible school and dog demonstrations.

—St. John's Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, will have a free drive-through, take-out meal today from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. No registration necessary.

—Sheri Rowe will offer a vocal solo at the 10:15 a.m. worship service on Sunday at United Church of Christ of Robesonia, 301 W. Penn Ave. Blanket of Hope donations will be dedicated and men will be honored for Father's Day.
