Crowd Cheers Outside Minneapolis Courthouse After Derek Chauvin Found Guilty

Crowds were seen cheering outside the downtown Minneapolis courthouse where former police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of all charges over the death of George Floyd on Tuesday, April 20.

Chauvin was found guilty on all three charges, including second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter for the killing of Floyd. The verdict was announced just after 4 pm on Tuesday afternoon at the Hennepin County Government Center.
