Crowds Celebrate Outside Courthouse After Kim Potter Found Guilty of Manslaughter

Kim Potter, the former Minnesota police officer who fatally shot 20-year-old Daunte Wright during a traffic stop in April 2021, was found guilty of first- and second-degree manslaughter on Thursday, December 23.

Potter said she mistakenly drew her gun instead of a Taser and fatally shot Wright.
