Crowds of foreigners await evacuation from Gaza

Mariam was among foreign nationals stuck at the border on Saturday as they waited to leave and was comforted by her mother after she burst into tears describing her fears of dying in a bombing.
The U.S. government has encouraged its citizens in Gaza to move south toward the border crossing with Egypt to be ready for its possible reopening amid the humanitarian crisis in the coastal enclave.
